This pillow was woven by the Cooperative Tisseuses of Ain Leuh.
This women-only weaving Cooperative has existed since 1977 and was one the first weaving cooperatives officially recognized in Morocco. As of today, it is comprised of 24 full-time members.
Ain Leuh is located in the Mid-Atlas Mountains and is known for these intricate Zemmour Hanbels which is showcased on the front of the pillow.
Woven with 100% sheep's wool, the colors are hand-dyed using local spices and plants.
